Description

The Defense Contracting Command- Washington, on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Army, Human Resources Command, Alexandria, VA, announces its plans for an upcoming solicitation. This is a follow on to the RFI/Sources Sought notice that was poste d on September 13, 2004. The Army plans to compete the technical integration support for the Modernized Army Continuing Education System (mACES). This award will be a follow-on to the current eArmyU contract. The objective of mACES is to provide a fully integrated support system with efficient education management and support and delivery processes. The technical integrator will develop (as needed) and maintain the technical capabilities and infrastructure required to support mACES. The Army is also co nsidering expanding the scope of this contract to encompass post-secondary certificate and degree programs and services support. At this time, the Army plans to issue a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for this requirement in October 2005 for vendor comme nts NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-JUN-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
