- FORMAL NOTICE OF A76 COMPETITIVE SOURCING STUDY. This notice constitutes the formal announcement that the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Administrative Services, has completed a streamlined study without MEO for administrative support services. The study was announced on March 28, 2005 and completed on June 1, 2005. The result of the study based on market analysis, indicates that it is more cost effective for the private sector to perform this function. The services are currently being performed by 32 FTE personnel located in Washington, D.C. and Arlington Heights, Illinois. A complete Performance Work Statement and specification are currently being formulated and will be formally advertised and synopsized in Federal Business Opportunity. It is anticipated to be available on or about August 15, 2005 to be competed via source selection procedures that may or may not result in a contract. Please do not request the solicitation prior to it being available. Any comments should be directed solely to the Director of Competitive Sourcing, Mr. Larry Clark at Clark.Larry@dol.gov. The Contracting Officer for this procurement will be Mr. Peter Higginbotham, higginbotham.peter@dol.gov.
