Description
Due to system constraints we are unable to modify synopsis issued on 16 Jun 05 under RFP SP0600-05-R-0318 to correct the classification code from 91 to J. Therefore a new synopsis was issued today under solicitation SP0600-05-R-0325. This synopsis and the one issued on 16 Jun 05 RFP reference is SP0600-05-R-0318 and not SP0600-05-R-0325 referenced in synopsis issued today. The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for services to include hydrostatic testing, refurbishment, conversion (Helium), and installation of pressure gauges on Government-owned trailers that are either currently in or will be used after conversion, for the delivery of bulk helium. The successful contractor(s) shall provide all inspections, services, repair parts, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the accomplishment of each service, as ordered under the delivery orders issued under resultant contracts. The Government’s total estimated requirement is 45 tube bank trailers. All trailers will require a combination of or all of the services. The period of performance is for one year. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Jun 05 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Award of one or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract(s) with a minimum quantity of 3 trailers and a maximum quantity of 39 trailers, is anticipated to be awarded on or about 30 Jun 05 as the procurement is being conducted under the Unusual and Compelling Urgency authority of FAR 6.302-2. A hard copy of the solicitation may be requested; however, only written, e-mailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Offers should be submitted in writing to the address stated above. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and potential offerors should contact the contract specialist identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns.
