Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is conducting Market Research to determine the existence of a Certified/Qualified SMALL BUSINESSES capable of performing refurbishment of a Kineto Tracking Mount (KTM) systems. Currently, the Kineto Tracking Mount Program has a need for refurbishment of approximately four KTM systems, in various configurations. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to the removal and transportation of KTM systems, refurbishment of Government furnished KTM systems; testing integrated systems and providing on-site technical support, training on the operations and maintenance of the systems and components, and provide documentation associated with the system. It is anticipated the period of performance of the resultant contract will be a basic period (19 Sep 05 to 18 Sep 06) with two option periods (one year each). This is based on the most current information available to date. Updated information will be posted electronically on FedBizOps at www.eps.gov if and when it becomes available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance as a commercial activity, with a size standard of $6,000,000.
