- Description
- This office is currently in the acquisition planning process for the follow-on contract for Student Support Services. The current contract was awarded through a competitive small business set-aside and the Government would like information from the various small business communities (e.g. 8(a), HUBZone, Service Connected Disabled Veterans, etc.) as to interest and capabilities. The projected period of performance would be a base period with one (1) one-year option period, commencing 01 Oct 2005. The solicitation number will be LAR05R00003, the expected release date is unknown at this time, however, a draft Statement of Work is posted with this Request for Information. The functional areas requiring support include Firearms and Drivers Training support, Uniform and PT Issue support, Roleplayer services, Audio-Visual and Educational Aids support, Transportation and Vehicle Maintenance support, Post Office operation, and Administrative and Training Materials support. The information gathered as a result of this RFI will be considered market research. Responses to this RFI are requested no later than 27 June 2005. Interested parties are requested to respond as to interest, capabilities and past performance information, to the Contracting Officer, Stephen H. Watters, at stephen.watters@dhs.gov.
