Description

The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for the purchase of paper, 24#, pre-cut, 8-1/2 inch X 11 inch Weyerhaeuser laser copy item NO. 1195 or equal. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-5-00028 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-4. CLIN001 paper, 24#, pre-cut, 8-1/2 inch X 11 inch Weyerhaeuser laser copy item NO. 1195 or equal. 500 sheets per ream, wrapped, 10 reams per box, 32 boxes per pallet. Quantity 1120 boxes. CLIN002 Quantity variation of no more than plus or minus 10% of CLIN001. Delivery is FOB destination to the Bureau of the Census, 1201 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47132, Attn: Receiving Section Bldg. 60 F. Acceptance at same location. Delivery on or before 03-07-05. The apparent low bidder may be required to deliver to the delivery location 1 (one) box of 5000 sheets of paper as a sample for testing, within 2 days after notice from the Government, at no cost to the Government. Awardees will have to register at CCR.gov and complete a U.S. Census Bureau’s vender registration form. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evalutions-Commerical Items, 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical Items, include a completed copy with offer, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items, 52.216-22, Brand Name or Equal (Aug. 1999), 52-214-20, Bid Samples (Apr. 2002), and 52-225-1 Buy American Act Supplies (June 2003). Be sure to include all shipping and handling charges to the delivery location. Bids are due by 5:00 PM on 06-27-05.
