Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select "Search RFPs." Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 30 June 2005. Closing Date is 30 July 2005. The solicitation SP0406-05-R-2877 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price Contract with 100% option, for NSN 9150-01-113-2047, Hydraulic Fluid, Fire Resistant; this is a commercial item. Unit drum contains 55 gallons. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is Small Business Set-Aside, other than full and open competition. Stock line only to AQ5, Tracy,CA for 198 DR. Delivery: 66 DARO, FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. QAP 004 applies. Quantity variance is Plus 5%, Minus 5%. Original manufacturer's commercial unit packaging is required. Repackaging is not authorized. MSDS and OSHA Hazard Warning Label are required. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance,and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
