- NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service in Seattle, Washington intends to award a contract for sample analysis and research, to include: Types of analysis to be performed Nerve and burrowing assays for several new species including Pacific butter clams, Saxidomus giganteus, razor clams, Ensis directus and/or Siliqua patula, mussels, Mytilus edulis, and possibly a species believed to have an intermediate capacity for PSP toxin accumulation, the Manila clam during the period 7/05 to 9/05. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000 The Western Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. for additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http:///www.ccr.gov/ .
