Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a solicitation, and proposals ar e being requested. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-05-T-0691. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiti on Circular (FAC) 97-27. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solic itation. The contractor shall provide: Clin 1: Cincinnati Sub-Zero Commercial Temperature/Altitude Test Chamber, Model CAH-64-3-REM-SC/AC; Installation, Start-up and Training; Shipping Charges. Acceptance shall be at Destination. Delivery shall be t o the CO, USARDECOM, ATTN: AMSSB-RRT-DD, Edgewood Area, Bldg. E5179, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md 21010-5423. The following clauses will be incorporated by reference. 52.209-6 Protecting the Governments Interest When Subcontracting with contractors debar red, suspended or proposed for debarment 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, 52.223-11 Ozone-Depleting Substances, 52-247-34 F.O.B. Destination. 52.216-19. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The contract will be awarded to low price Technical acceptable. The government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. The Government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis. Offeror shall include a comp leted copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial al Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certification with its offer. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Imp lement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
