Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): Install a remote key pad (tabletop LCD screen) operation to op erate all listed equipment (line 3) in conference room A. All equipment will be located in room 154 building 56301. Bid for the key pad will be either hard wire or remote (RF). Blue Tooth technology can not be used for any part of this service. Key pad will operate 1 each VCR (JVC-HR S5902U), 1 each DVD (JVC-AC Compulink), one each PC (Dell Precision 370), and 2 each 40 plasma monitors (with TV / sound), a Crestron Media Control Sound System, and a remote mouse pad. (All equipment is rack mounted). Dis tance for the key pad to the equipment will be 40 - 50 feet. Equipment will be separated from the key pad by a wall. System will operate each of items listed in line 3 independently or as a system with part or all components. Components are used for briefi ngs and training sessions. System is to be totally integrated and user friendly solution. Final Bid proposal will include a site visit and a detailed written proposal. Request for Site Visit must be submitted by 8 July 2005. Site Visits will be schedule d between 11 and 14 July 2005, and final Bid proposals will be submitted no later than 20 July 2005. Before a site visit is approved the following information must be submitted to USAEPG Contracting Officer: Name of persons that will be on site, company n ame. Travel expenses must be approved by the USAEPG Contracting Officer before they are incurred. FOB Destination (Fort Huachuca, Arizona 85613). Payment will be made by Government Credit Card under Net 30 Terms. Initial Offers or Site Visit Requests ar e due no later than 1200 hours, Friday, 8 July 2005. Final Offers shall be submitted by 1200 hours, Wednesday, 20 July 2005 and shall be submitted electronically at virginia.miller@epg.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA / PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated b ased on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the Requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance and Price. The Synopsis/ solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 and 2001-23. This is a Small Business Set Aside. The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52 .212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Federal Tax Identification Number, Cage Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number and applicable FSC Codes with this offer. FAR Clauses 52.212- 4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
