Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ND Air National Guard  Fargo, ND  Red-Oxide Steel, Steel bolts, and Anchors for the construction of a pavilion on the Regional Training Site grounds. These products are based off of the architectural site plans available upon request in PDF format: This requisition is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business; NAICS: 423510; Employees: 100. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1600hrs CST on 11 July 2005. Quotes shall be faxed, or e-mailed to the point of contact listed on this notice. Non-personal services: To provide the 119th FW with steel, bolts, and anchors based off of the provided architectural plans and project description. This steel will be custom cut and have pre-drilled holes to be ready to assemble and erect once the product has arrived at the 119th FW. The steel will be painted with Sherwin Williams E61RC21 Shop Coat Red Oxide primer to provide a dry film thickness of 2.0 to 3.5 mils. Grey Oxide primer E61AC82 may be substituted for red. The following steel requirements must be met: Wide flange section: ASTM A992 Grade 50, Steel Angles, channels, bars and plates M, S and HP shapes: ASTM A36, Structural Steel cold formed round, square or rectangular hollow structural sections or tubing, HSS: ASTM A500 Grade B. Bolts and anchor require the following specifications be met: Non headed coarse threaded anchor bolts or rods: ASTM F1554-99 Grade 36, High strength threaded fasteners: ASTM A325 type 1 heavy hex; A490 for bolts larger than 1 ? diameter, Nuts and washers: heavy hex hardened carbon st eel. ASTM A563 coarse thread for nuts and ASTM F436 for washers. The bidding should not include any stairs or handrails. The price should include delivery to the North Dakota Air National Guard in Fargo, ND 58102. Included in the delivery the price should also reflect any unloading charges as well as other charges that might be incurred to transport the product from the contractor to the North Dakota Air National Guard. These charges might include but are not limited to tolls, fees, and oversize load charge s. Please quote with the Best Value in mind for cost to the Government. The pricing will be firm fixed price and is an all or none award; this contract will not be split to multiple contractors.
