Description
PROJECT INFORMATION Solicitation No. W9128F 05 Q 0037 On or about 29 June 2005, this office will issue Request for Quotations for the Fit-to-Win Contract. Bids will be opened on or about 29 July 2005. This solicitation is 100% restricted to small businesses. Contractors interested in submitting proposal should visit http://ebs-nwo.wes.army.mil/ to view complete Solicitation. DO NOT submit requests for Scope of Work and specifications. Brief project description: This contract requirement is to provide administrative support and the other services necessary to develop and operate a wellness program for the Omaha District Corps of Engineers. This contract will be awarded as a Best Value to the Government, from 1 Oc tober 2005 to 30 September 2006, with four option periods from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2010. Potential Contractors are to provide their resume and proposal to achieve at least minimum goals stated in this Scope of Work for this Fit-to-Win program with their quote. The fitness specialist will be located in an office within the Omaha District Fitness Center, located in the Central Park Plaza 222 So. 15th Street, Omaha, NE, approximately 32 hours per week (staggered, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday -Friday, as scheduled in a pre-commencement conference, to encourage maximize employee participation, (i.e. noon hours). Specialist will travel to approximately 5 of the 10 field office locations per fiscal year, as designated by the Government, during co ntract period (reimbursable expenses). During periods of travel, workweek may increase to allow for the most expeditious travel and means of accomplishing mission. Trips will average two days. When possible, the Northwestern Division airplane will be us ed for transportation to and/or from the field offices during the course of regularly scheduled flights.
