Description

The Bureau of Reclamation has requirements for computer servers, components, and accessories. It is Reclamation's intent to negotiate on a "Brand Name" bases for products manufactured by CISCO Systems, Inc only; consideration of substitutes or equal products is not contemplated. This notice is to seek qualified sources of supply for the brand named items. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 as a Commercial Item acquisition; set-aside 100% for Small Business participation under North America Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 423430. The small business size standard for this procurement is 500 employees or less. Request for Proposal (RFP) 05SP811130 for this requirement will be issued on or about July 18, 2005 with a fifteen day response time. No proposals or any other catalog price or cost data should be submitted, to the Contracting Officer, in response to this notice. Small Business Firms that believe they can provide the "Brand Name" items are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer regarding their status. Responses to this notice should include the firm's (a) name, (b) mailing address, (c) Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS), (d) Tax Identification Number (TIN), and (e) a statement that the firm is or is not registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration in ORCA is a requirement of FAR as of January 1, 2005. Information relating to registration in ORCA can be obtained on the internet at http://orca.bpn.gov.
