Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to deliver and install protective seal coating and pavement striping. Work included under this invitation consists of furnishing the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, means, methods and materials necessary (except as otherwise specified), to perform and complete the Statement of Work as contained in item number 0001 and 0002 of the Line Item Summary (Page 2, 4 & 5) of the Request for Quotation. The site of the work is located within the Norfolk National Fish Hatchery, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas. CONTRACTORS ARE URGED TO VISIT THE SITE AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH EXISTING CONDITIONS. Claims made by the Contractor for extra work caused by their failure to visit the site will not be allowed. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 238990 is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $12.0 million. The estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about June 28, 2005 with a July 28, 2005 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is August 2, 2005. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The FWS is currently using Electronic Commerce to issue solicitations and the resulting award. The RFQ documents will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov under RFQ Number 401815Q105. In order to submit a quote on-line, you must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.bpn.gov. Use of a Dun and Bradstreet (Duns) and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required. You may obtain your DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet free of charge at (800) 333-0505. All prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). See FAR Clause 52.204-08 in Section K. This certification should be completed before submitting your quote or bid.
