- This synopsis, and applicable amendments, is posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at HTTP://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On-Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the specified websites to ensure they have downloaded any and all amendments. In accord with FAR 6.302-1, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to solicit Beckman Coulter Inc located at 11800 SW 147 Avenue, Miami FL 33116-9015, on a sole source basis, for delivery of quantity one each of: (1) Part No. 6605697, Multisizer 3 Analyzer, (2) Part No. 177495, Aperture Concentration Control (1 x 15 mL), (3) Part No. 6601329, Standards Mixed Kit: 1 ea: 2 ?m, 5 ?m, 10 ?m, 20 ?m, 43 ?m, 5 x 15 Ml, (4) Part No. 8546719, Isoton II Diluent, 20 L, (5) Part No. 8546929, Coulter Clenz, 500 mL, (6) Part No. 8320592, Accuvettes II (pack of 200), (7) Part No. 8304604, HP Color InkJet Printer with Cable (1 each), (8) Part No. 8309965, Flat Screen Monitor, (9) Part No. 8321266, Pentium PC CPU, (10) Part No. 8320516, Aperture Tube, 30 ?m. Delivery FOB-Destination to NSWCDD, within 60 days of award. Standard commercial documentation/manuals and warranty shall convey. The required particle-cell counter and size analyzer, fully configured, has the following minimum salient characteristics. The counter-analyzer both counts particles and measures the size at less than 0.01micron increments. It counts Bacillus spores and measures the size of spores within spore populations for purposes of developing new procedures for measuring spore decontamination and for basic research experiments such as spore germination. The Government will consider statements, from all responsible sources, which evidence capability to provide the required items, with required characteristics, within the required delivery schedule, submitted via email to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil: please reference synopsis number N00178-05-Q-3048 when responding. Capability statements that do not evidence an ability to demonstrate a currently-available product within 7 days of the appearance of this notice and subsequently deliver a particle counter & size analyzer, with the required minimum salient characteristics, within the required schedule will not be considered. Offerors must submit capability statements within 7 days of synopsis publication. Closing date is 4 July 2005 at 2:00 pm EST. Estimated award date is 8 July 2005.
