- Description
- Current GSA SmartPay? contracts will expire on November 29, 2008, assuming the exercise of the remaining contract option periods. GSA is planning to conduct a competition in Fiscal Year 2006 for the future GSA SmartPay? program. GSA is interested in new and innovative solutions to meet future program challenges. GSA SmartPay? is the Government?s charge card program that serves over 350 federal agencies, organizations, and Native American tribes. In Fiscal Year 2004, the program enabled the Federal Government to transact over 90 million purchase, travel, and fleet transactions at a value of over $24 billion. GSA?s vision for the future GSA SmartPay? program focuses on: Customer service excellence through improved service support, better customer tools, and greater responsiveness to evolving customer needs; Partnerships in program management, control, and oversight to reduce waste, fraud and abuse; Innovation in meeting unique government requirements, particularly relating to data management; Products and services that will make the future government charge card program secure and robust. Prospective offerors should register online at the GSA SmartPay? website at http://apps.fss.gsa.gov/services/gsa-smartpay/registration by July 5th, 2005, to receive a copy of the Request for Information. The Government expects to post a Request for Information on or around July 5th, 2005 on www.fedbizopps.gov.
