Description

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment and supervision to repair/replace roofs at Mountain Home AFB Idaho and 15 remote sites. Work consists of, but is not limited to, removing and replacing waterproof membranes, flashing, insulation, inspecting roof decking and verifying proper drainage. The performance period for this project is a basic year and four option years. This acquisition will result in a single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The successful contractor will be selected using past performance/price trade off procedures resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. Offerors shall submit proposals that can be accepted solely on the basis of the initial offer, as the government intends to award the contract without further discussion. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically o/a 22 March 2005. Solicitation will be posted on FedBusOpps at www.FedBizOpps.gov or www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. The NAICS code is 238160; size standard $12.0 million. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Competition is UNRESTRICTED in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988.
