Description
The following changes or clarifications were made: (1)Clarification on Power output at the 1dB compression. (2) Deleted return loss. (3) Clarification of harmonic distortion. (4)Clarification of nominal output monitor. (5)Clarification of amplifier t o be protected against. (6) Clarification on panel mounted gauge/display indicating values of. (7) Clarification on remote control. (8) Clarification on maximum dimensions. (9) Clarification on operating temp. and (10) Clarification on documentation: (11) Required Delivery date is changed to 7 months ARO. AMENDED SPECIFICATIONS OF 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz AMPLIFIER: All of the following specifications are necessary. Frequency range: 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz with at most 1 operator intervention actions e.g. changing a wa veguide transition. Power flatness: +/- 2 dB (as measured at 1dB compression between 1 & 2.5 GHz), Nominal Power output @ the 1dB compression: 900W CW minimum (across the band and not saturated power, saturated power has to be above 1500 watts across the b and) RF Output Mismatch tolerance: TWT shall not be damaged under any condition including an open or short. Power output stability: 0.5dB in any 1 minute interval after a 30 min warm-up. Spurious outputs: -50dBc maximum. Harmonic distortion -20 dBc maximum a t saturated power. Maximum noise figure 30 dB maximum. Gain minimum: 62dB Gain stability: 0.3dB during any 10 minute period after a 30 min warm-up. RF Output connector type: Female. Type 7/16, 7/8, 1 5/8 or waveguide with a band break at 1.7 GHz between WR-650 waveguide flange and WR-430 waveguide flange. RF Load Impedance 50 ohms, VSWR 2:1 maximum. Nominal output monitor: 60dB (-50dB is acceptable) Output monitor connector: Female, N type on front or rear panel. RF Input connector Female, N type on front or rear panel. RF Input impedance 50 ohms, VSWR 2.0:1. RF Input protection protected against damage from overdrive up to 20dBm. Amplifier to be p rotected against: Over-temperature, RF output mismatch including open or short. Front panel mounted meaningful fault indicators, Front panel mounted gauge/display indicating value of Forward RF Power, Reverse RF Power. Front panel mounted gauge/display indicating value or accessed through IEEE-488, Cathode Voltage, Helix Current, tem perature. Safety Interlock 15 pin female subminiature D on rear panel. Remote control via IEEE-488 and have access to all amplifier control functions & status indicators. Electrical Power Requirements: Primary power: 3 phase, 208 VAC 60Hz, NEMA 18-60R electrical plug, 8 electrical cord. Mechanical: Rack mounted:yes Wheels: yes, Lift rings four on top, one at each corner. Maximum Weight 2000 lbs the smaller the better. Maximum dimensions: 80 in. H x 63 in. W x 63 in. D excluding wheels and lift rings the smaller the better; an ideal size would be 70 in. H x 30 in. W x 36 in. D. Shock: 10G, by design, testing not required. The amplifier should withstand normal truck shipping. We typically roll amplifiers across floors and door thresholds from one room to another. Please indicate what the amplifier is designed to withstand for shock. Vibration: by design, testing not required. The amplifier should withstand normal truck shipping. We typically roll amplifiers across floors and door thresholds from one room to another. Please indicate what the amplifier is design ed to withstand for vibration. Environmental: Cooling Forced air-cooled (self contained fans) to permit continuous full power operation. Operating Temperature 0 - 45 degrees Centigrade. (at 10,000 ft., it can be derated to operate up to 34 degrees Centigr ade), Operating Altitude 0 to 10 thousand feet. Documentation - full set of documentation (e.g. user manual & programming reference guide) and production test data demonstrating amplifier performance from 1 GHz to 2.5GHz for power delivery, VSWR, harmonic performance, and spurious signals Warranty: 3 ye ar, 100% warranty on the tube, power supply and elect ronics. All other requirments of this soliciation remains unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-JUN-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
