Description: USAID/Jamaica-Caribbean (USAID/J-CAR) is seeking the services of a U.S. citizen to provide assistance as a Senior Program Advisor in support of its bilateral and regional sustainable development programs and Hurricane Ivan recovery and reconstruction special objectives. The Senior Program Advisor will be located in the Office of Program Development and Management (OPDM) in Kingston, Jamaica and is anticipated to serve for a period of 18 months beginning o/a September 15, 2005. Because of the regional responsibilities of USAID/J-CAR, the position will also entail travel to the Mission?s satellite office in Bridgetown, Barbados as well as to partner countries in the eastern Caribbean in order to provide direct support to the regional program.
