- Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work for installing a packaged rooftop HVAC system to serve the second floor of the upstream control houses at Eisenhower and Snell Locks located in Massena, New York. The total area to be heated/cooled in each control house is approximately 660 square feet in a single zone. The work includes installation of the rooftop unit and ductwork, diffusers, controls, etc. as required to make the system functional. A firm, fixed priced purchase order shall be awarded on or about August 19, 2005 with the work to be completed by October 28, 2005. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is a $25.00 US funds non-refundable fee for specifications and drawings. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be released approximately July 15, 2005 with a response date of August 16, 2005. Mail your request for the RFQ package along with the above fee to the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Attn: Contracting Office, PO Box 520, 180 Andrews Street, Massena, New York 13662. All responsible sources may submit an quote which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Prospective quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. Please register with the CCR at www.ccr.gov. This project is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both small and large businesses. NAICS code 238220; Size standard $12.0M. The Department of Transportation (DOT) offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT?s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
