Description

The intent of this solicitation is to provide all facilities, supplies, equipment and labor to process for credit return and or proper disposal of designated pharmaceuticals, including scheduled drugs I, II, III, IV and V in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 40 (Protection of the Environment) and CFR 49 (Department of Transporation), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Defense (DOD), for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Beckley, WV, in accordance with contract specifications. Prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is being issued as a (RFP). The solicitation number is RFP #246-05-02054. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This solicitation will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 562998 and the small business size standard is $6M. The VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV. intends to solicit quotes and award a contract on a competitive basis to the offeror(s) whose quotation meets the requirements of this solicitation. Proposals will be considered only from contractors who are regularly established in the business called for and who are financially responsible and have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish service in the volume required. Subcontracting is not allowed. Period of contract will be from October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with four one-year options to extend.
