Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The 65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, is conducting market research to seek qualified sources capable of executing the following project requirement: Demolish five above ground storage tanks, including the tank bottom, and all above ground piping. Contractor is responsible for disposal of all debris in accordance with applicable regulations. All demolition should properly dispose of any asbestos, lead based paint or contaminated soil that is discovered in the demolition footprint. Option: Demolish the containment dike and all underground piping to the main pipeline. At the main line the pipe will be cut and capped. All demolition should properly dispose of any asbestos, lead based paint or contaminated soil that is discovered in the demolition footprint. Tanks to be demolished: T-1340, T-1330, T-1331, T-1341, And T-1342. A site visit will be held on 11 JUL 05 AT 0900 at the Contracting Office, Bldg T-615, Lajes Field, Azores. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238910. THIS PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED TO MAINLAND PORTUGAL AND ITS TERRITORIES. No paper copies will be issued and requests for solicitations will not receive a response. Any information submitted is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT request. Interested businesses are required to submit their statement of interest and capabilities the 65th Contracting Squadron, LGCA, ATTN: TSgt Mary Accomando.
