Description

DESC: Headrest Assembly (1240-00-427-7219) consists of arm that is a steel casting, stainless steel and copper-aluminum shafts, formed steel headrest and lever, screws and washers. Brazing is required along with a cadmium base before a coat of white paint. The part is approximate 7 in. long x 5 in. wide x 3 in. high. NSN: 1240-00-437-7219, Part Number 8619421, the item to procure is a Periscope Subassembly. Requirements are 280 Each, Periscope Subassembly. FOB is Destination. Used on the M60 Tank. Estimated issue date is 18 July 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in f act unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to res pond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-td p@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the sol icitation has been released to the internet.
