Description

DESC: Synopsis issued 27 June 2005 and 15 April 2005 are hereby amended. Solicitation W52H09-05-R-0175 for the Latch, Barrel, NSN: 5340-01-032-8146; P/N: 11825999 advertised as a small business set-aside will be amended to allow for submission of initial and revised proposals. Offerors that have already submitted a proposal have the opportunity revise their proposals. Prospective offerors that have not submitted a proposal have the opportunity to submit an offer on this solicitation. The guarant eed minimum quantity is 2,000 each with a maximum quantity of 15,000 each. The estimated date of issuance of Amendment 002 to the solicitation is 13 July 2005 and will be posted on the TACOM-RI PROCNET website at https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais.htm, under S olicitation. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Befor e a TDP package can be provided, a non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and emailed to sue.mcgregor@us.army.mil or faxed to (309) 782-0241. The non-disclosure and non-use agreement will be provided as Attachment 001 to the solicitation. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US Government requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The suc cessful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture, the items being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, t he Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
