Description

PRIME CONTRACTORS PROPOSING UNDER THIS SOLICITATION MUST BE US FIRMS, BOLIVIAN FIRMS OR JOINT VENTURES BETWEEN US FIRMS AND BOLIVIAN FIRMS. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), COMPETITIVE BEST VALUE, PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. Project consists of a 2-story building addition that will be designed and constructed adjacent to an existing building. Building will be constructed with reinforced concrete floors, masonry walls and a reinforced concrete slab, ribbed roof. Work includes site work with connections to existing water, sanitary sewer and electrical systems with a roof mounted, gravity fed, water storage tank. Estimated cost range of the project is from $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation documents should be available on or ab out 19 July 2005. Mr. Gene Curtis is the Contracting Officer for this project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. The purpose of the conference is to familiarize the bidders with the scope of work, address bidders questions concerning the project, participate in a site visit to become familiar with the existing site conditions, and familiarize the bidders with the Best Value process. Failure to do so shall not relieve offerors from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government shall assume no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the Request For Proposals, the specifications, or related documents.
