Description: Solicitation No. W81XWH-05-T-0586 will be issued on or about 6 July 2005 and proposals will be due on or about 8 July 2005 at 4:30 p.m. EST. The Government requirement is for the nonpersonal services of an information technology systems specialist i n the Division of Biometrics at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, MD. The contractor shall perform all phases of application development: analysis, design, develop, test and implement information systems that meet specified requi rements. The contractor shall assist with conversion of legacy systems to web-based applications, maintain existing information systems, assist with software installation and/or upgrade. The contractor shall develop and maintain web pages. Period of per formance for this requirement is one base year of 12 months, beginning 11 July 2005, and three option periods of 12 months each. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 518210 with annual receipts not to exceed $2 1,000,000. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or abo ut 6 July 2005 on ASFI (Army Single Face to Industry). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registation (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. A Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price or Labor Hour purchase order is planned.
