Description

St. Louis, MO 63102 - Installation of Alarm Systems, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, Gateway Arch, 2nd and Walnut Streets, Solicitation Number I6520050010. SEEKING QUALIFIED HUB-ZONE COMPANIES TO BID THIS PROJECT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $12 million (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years). MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $100,000 to $500,000. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: This project is set aside 100% for HUB-ZONE contractors that are certified with the Small Business Administration. Work consist of furnishing all labor and materials to install an Intrusion Detection and Fire Alarm System. Alarm system must be compatible with the existing systems at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (Grounds Maintenance Building). Fire Alarm must be Simplex Grinnell. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price contract that requires a lump sum bid. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed. PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The solicitation package will be issued on or about July 18, 2005 with a bid opening date on or about August 19, 2005. Solicitation packages may be obtained via the Internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunities web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
