Description

On July 11, 2005 the National Park Service will post a Solicitation SF-1449 for the intent to purchase 5 separate 8 foot long press risers with 3 tiers that are 2 feet apart with an elevation of 3 feet, 5 feet and 7 feet and each tier must be adjustable. Each tier must have wheels attached at each leg to allow each tier to be moved easily as an individual section or collectively when all five sections are attached creating a 40 foot long press riser. Stability is Crucial on the entire system and Vibration must be minimized. It is critical that the system be comprised of material that can support 200 lbs per square foot and still be relatively light weight material to aid in easy assembly. The material must be non-corrosive, weather resistant and each tier will have slip resistant surfaces for walking and standing. There will be 4 separate 4 foot by 4 foot platforms for media cameras to be placed on and stability is crucial and vibration must be minimized in order to ensure minimal camera movement.
