Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure a one-year preventative maintenance service contract covering all of the audiovisual equipment in the conference and training rooms at the Fleet and Family Support Centers (FFSC) at Norfolk, Oceana, Little Creek, Newport News, Yorktown, and Northwest in Chesapeake. A total of seventeen (17) conference and training rooms will be included. The period of performance for the resultant contract will begin not later than 15 August 2005 and run through 14 August 2006. Services to be provided will include but will not be limited to: Same day telephone response; One or two-day onsite response depending upon urgency of the requirement; Initial preventive maintenance; Telephone support and consultation; Loaner equipment during periods of extended repair; Shipping to and from the service centers; Operator training for new employees; Factory trained and certified service technicians. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation will be available on or about 01 July 2005. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http:www2.eps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended of debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
