Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to enter into negotiations with Water Corporation, Mailstop SA, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757 for a One (1) year maintenance agreement for Waters-Micromass Autospec Mass Spectrometer System, to include the mass spectrometer, embedded PC, Masslynx software and updates, Water 2690 LC (S/N: M494). This includes all parts and labor necessary to repair this instrument, telephone support, and one (1) preventative maintenance visit. The U.S. EPA believes Water Corporation is the only vendor capable of satisfying this requirement. The period of performance is expected to be from the date of award for twelve (12) months. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 339111 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 personnel. No request for quotation is available and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All interested, responsible, sources must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall: 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outlined above and; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government an order will be placed with Waters Corporation.
