- Description
- Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to repair the insulation and sheet metal lagging damage at building 440, AMU-1 and AMU-2, at Eglin AFB, FL. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and size standard $12M. The acquisition is unrestricted. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes, but not limited to, installation of new spot patching of insulation and replacement of sheet metal lagging, accomplishment of environmental controls and the disposal of spoil materials. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools and equipment to complete project at building 440, AMU –1 and AMU-2, at Eglin AFB, FL. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and 1,000,000. Funds are not currently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under this contract. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov) on or about 11 May 2005. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 10 June 2005. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
