Description

Project No. D-03-331, Demolish Building No. 133-S1 at Sagami General Depot, Kanagawa-ken, Japan. This project includes (but not limited to) a demolition of a former chapel with asbestos abatement (Non-Friable Asbestos and Friable Asbestos) included. Performance Period: 60 calendar days after receipt of award. PERFORMANCE BOND (100% of contract price) is required for this project. The offeror is also required to submit Past Performance Information for the most relevant 3 contracts to this project by 22 Jul 05. All offerors are encouraged to participate the site orientation on 8 Jul 05, 1030 hrs. Participants will meet at Main Gate, Sagami General Depot, Kanagawa-ken, Japan. (Advance notification to POC below is required.) ****************** NOTE: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(A)(12). Local sources are those sources normally resident, licensed and registered to conduct construction business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation.
