Description

CEDAR COUNTY, IOWA The work of this contract consists of the general construction of fire protection systems in the Amanda Garvin Cottage, Schoolhouse and Friends Meetinghouse buildings. The fire protections systems will be a dry type sprinkler system throughout the building and designed for light hazard. The service for Amanda Garvin Cottage and Friends Meetinghouse will enter a mechanical equipment room in the basement. These buildings will be provided with a fire department siamese connection and a post indicator valve. The Schoolhouse will be served from an existing dry pipe system located in the Birth Place Cottage. All system shall be installed in conformance with the current edition of N.F.P.A. 13, standard for Installation of Sprinkler Systems. Magnitude of project: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00.
