Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, plans to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to install pipelines in the Letterman District within the Presidio of San Francisco, CA. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Scope of Work includes: (a) installation of approximately 2,795 LF of 8-inch recycled water distribution pipeline; (b) approximately 1,180 LF of 6-inch waste sludge pipeline; and (c) approximately 540 LF of (2) 6-inch influent wastewater pipeline. Contractors are requested in RFP to propose a start date. The Period of Performance is 110 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Work must be complete no later than January 31, 2005. Approximate projected award date of contract is August/September 2005. The Trust anticipates awarding one firm fixed price contract. Estimated Project Cost: between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Minimum qualifications include: California General Engineering Contractor’s License, Certificate of Insurance, Bonding Capacity, and ten years of experience in underground utilities construction. Davis Bacon Act (U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage rates) applies.
