Description

USDA requires a single contractor with the capability and capacity to provide nationwide coverage (including Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam and the District of Columbia) of USDA’s 21 agencies and 23 other federal agencies Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation. Firms must be capable of providing knowledge specialists who know the individual state laws, rules and procedures governing Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation. The contractor shall perform all administrative functions in managing unemployment compensation claims; and provide various administrative services utilizing detailed information provided for unemployment purposes. The contract will be awarded for one (1) base year with four (4) option years to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interest. This contract will be a firm fixed price. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The approximate solicitation release date is July 27, 2005. The solicitation will be available and distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation/amendments will be disturbed solely through the web site listed. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Interested parties must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov) in order to transact business with USDA. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items procedures.
