Description
CORRECTION OF SYNOPSIS DATED JUNE 24, 2005; RESPONSE DATE REVISED TO JULY 08,2005 -- The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify any vendors who are capable of providing preventative maintenance, inspection services (PMIS), including routine minor repairs, and major repairs of equipment on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling systems located at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA. This includes providing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, and incidental engineering needed to perform all required on-site PMIS, including routine minor and major repairs or replacement of equipment on the CNG Fueling Systems (16 pumps) and fueling trailer as recommended by the manufacturers of the systems and standard industry practice. The work will involve timely response to scheduled and unscheduled service calls; and performance of firm fixed price routine minor repairs or replacement; and optional work for major repairs, r! eplacement on the CNG systems. This is an expression of interest only and does not commit the government to pay for proposal preparation costs. The purpose of this sources sought part of market research to determine if two or more responsible small businesses are will and capable of providing these services. The applicable small business size standard is NAICS is 221210 and the number of employees is 500. Vendors need to address their capability of providing these services, and provide a minimum of (3) references and past performance information for the same or similar services, and include the name of the agency or company, point of contact, and current telephone number. Vendor responses are requested by email to eva.austin@usmc.mil or by fax to (760) 725-8445 not later than 5 days of posting of this notice. Interested parties should be alert for subsequent announcements that may be published at www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov.
