Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Solicitations are not available at this time. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Mobile MRI and CT Services at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix, New Jersey 08640. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621512 (Size Standard: $11.5 million). The contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to: providing mobile MRI and CT scan services; performing cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine MRI in multiple views; performing MRI of various internal body organs; performing MRI of different joints, such as elbow, knee, hip and ankles; performing CT of various internal body organs; provide professional interpretations by New Jersey licensed Radiologist. Reports must be typewritten or in computerized format and returned to the COTR in a timely manner; contractor will be responsible for the professional interpretations of all exams; contractor will be responsible for the cost of shipping films and reports back to the institution and all other costs associated with providing the requested services. It is estimated that the contractor will perform twelve (12) MRI scans and eight (8) CT scans per monthly visit. It is anticipated that the number of sessions will not exceed two (2) per month, one (1) session for MRI, and one (1) for CT. The sessions will be conducted between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, (excluding Federal holidays) as mutually agreed upon between the contractor and the Government. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. A Government proposal to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information provided to the Government. The Market Research Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about July 1, 2005, and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration, Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is July 12, 2005. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written request for the market survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, 346 Marine Forces Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051, Attn: Michael Rouanzion, Contracting Officer. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
