- This is a notice of intent by the U.S. Army Medical Command Center for Health Care Contracting to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Accreditations for various US Army Medical Treatment Facilities in accordance with JCAHO regulations as required by Department of Defense Directive 6025.13; however all responses will be considered. Request for Proposal Number is W81k04-05-R-0030. Supplies and services required ar e to provide on-site surveys of these facilities by a survey team of the JCAHO at some point during the life of the contract. The contractor shall furnish the ncesssary personnel, materials, facilities and other services as may be required to enter and su rvey the U.s. Army Medical treat Facilities. The contractor shall furnish a physician, a registered nurse, a hospital administrator and an alcohol and other drug abuse specialist for survey of every MEDCOM chemical addiction program and a behavioral healt h specialist in early childhood development for survey of programs with Early Intervention Programs (EDIS). Medical technologist surveyors will accompany the survey team when required. Travel is required. The base period of performance will be from 1 Ja n 2006 to 31 Dec 2006 with four 1-year options through 31 December 2010. The solicitation will be issued on or about 3 Aug 05.
