Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) proposes to extend Contract No. PBGC01-CT-01-0603 with Resource Consultants, Inc. Under the contract, Resource Consultants, Inc. will continue to provide technical support services for Database Administration and UNIX/LINUS Systems Administration functions. The extension is for a period of six months which will extend services through March 31, 2006. The extension with Resource Consultants, Inc. will allow additional time to compete a consolidated information technology contract; allow for a continuity of services that only Resource Consultants, Inc can provide; and allow for an orderly transition after the award of contract. The solicitation for the consolidated information technology contract, which is being handled by Kay Rison of the PBGC, is expected to be issued in the September/October 2005 timeframe. Ms. Rison may be reached at rison.kay@pbgc.gov. An RFP will not be issued. See Note 22.
