Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3D15182A100 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. This acquisition is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System code 424410 Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for Hinged Compartment Containers that hold food. This requirement calls for 20 cases of clear 8?x 6 ??x 2 1/4? THREE Compartment clamshell-hinged Containers, 50 Cases of clear 8?x 6 ??x 2 ?? TWO Compartment clamshell-hinged containers, and 40 cases of clear 8?x 6 ??x 2 ?? ONE Compartment clamshell-hinged containers. Cases must contain 150 Containers each or provide the equivalent amout of containers (16,500). Award will be made based on price, and delivery time. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor. Registration at: www.ccr2000.com/. Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 303 J AVE, BLDG 302, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 4:30 (4:30pm) CST, 7 July 2005 signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (Jun 2004) and its deviations (Apr 2004) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. Paragraph (a and b) of the clause incorporates by reference the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4 is tailored as follows changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties with the exception of administrative changes (such as changes in paying office appropriation data, etc.) that may be changed unilaterally by the Government.
