Description

The Defense Information Technology Organization (DITCO), Net Centric Services Branch, Services Section, Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a contract to provide all the labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision for the purpose of providing lawn care maintenance and snow/ice removal services at DITCO, 2300 East Drive, Building 3600, Scott AFB, IL. Lawn care maintenance shall consist of mowing, edging, and trimming the lawn, fertilization and fungicide treatment, weed control to include hand-pulling weeds from flower beds, and pruning of trees/shrubs, leaf removal, sodding, and landscaping as required in accordance with (IAW) the statement of work. Snow/ice removal service shall consist of monitoring inclement weather caused by snow/ice precipitation at Scott AFB, IL and responding in accordance with the statement of work, responding to telephone calls within 30 minutes when contacted by DITCO during normal duty hours, and removing snow/ice from the steps, side walks, and parking lots in IAW the statement of work. The period of performance will be one (1) base year, 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, and four (4) option periods. The type of contract is firm-fixed price. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or request for proposal.
