Description

The Bureau of Land Management Amarillo Field Office through the BLM New Mexico State Office has an upcoming requirement for the acquisition of supplies related to the construction and installation water pipelines. Supplies required are 63,500 linear feet of 2-inch polyethylene pipe, fusion tees, standard transition fittings, electrofusion couplings, curb stops and releases, curb boxes, curb box stationary rods, curb box combination key, float valve assemblies, air vents, pressure regulator, dole flow regulator, check valve, valve box, centralizers, and 8 1,000-gallon water troughs. Delivery date is September 30, 2005. Delivery point, FOB destination, is Amarillo Helium Plant located at 10001 Interchange 552, Amarillo, Texas 79124. Performance will commence immediately after award. Anticipated award of the firm-fixed price contract is on or by July 29, 2005. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include technical capability to meet the government need; price; past performance; and small business program participation and certification such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8a, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.. Technical capability and past performance when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. Request for Quotation No. GDQ051068 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be posted on or by July 10, 2005. Thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This is a total small business set-aside. NAICS is 326122 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. PSC is 4710.
