- Description
- Interface Carbon Monoxide System to the HVAC (Johnson Controls) controls in order for the CO system to turn on Air Handlers HV 1 thru 13 and exhaust fans 1 thru 13 at the Detroit P&DC. This is an active U.S. Postal Service facility; as such the contractor cannot interfere with the flow or processing of the U.S. mail. During the Christmas season from November 15, 2005 until January 4, 2006 the contractor will not be allowed to work in the building. Johnson Controls did the HVAC Control System. Award of this contract is contingent upon final USPS project and funding approval. Minority-owned and Women-owned Business participation is encouraged. Construction cost range: $55,000 to $70,000. Performance time will be 120 calendar days from the date after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Evaluation criteria in addition to price will be considered and are as follows: To be performed using information submitted in the Qualification Statement. 1. Past Performance (60 pts.): a. Adequate demonstration of successful completion of projects of a similar scope and magnitude as that of the proposal work; b. Must have been in business at least five (5) years doing work of a similar scope and magnitude. 2. Supplier Capability: Financial (financial statements, bonding, EMR, banking) and Backlog (Pass/Fail) and Project Management Plan/Approach (40 pts.); a. Project Schedule, b. Proposed Project Team, Resumes and Company Organization Chart, c. Quality Control Plan/Team, d. Firm’s Standard Safety Plan, and e. Self-Performed Work. Specifications will be available on or about July 11, 2005. The proposal due date is August 9, 2005. Specifications will be provided for a non-refundable cost of $100.00. Orders can be pre- paid by Corporate or Personal Check made out to LDI Reproprinting Center (DO NOT MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE). Mail your check to: LDI Reproprinting Centers, 2200 Northlake Parkway, Suite 350, Tucker, GA 30084-4084. All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail. This is included in the price of the prints and specifications. USPS Express Mail service is also available at an additional cost. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names, and the amount of their offers WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION.
