Description: The Norfolk District is offering for sale minimum 58 tons of mixed pine in one training areas on Fort Story, Virginia. The total number of items for this sale is one (1). The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers through July 20, 2005. Arrangements for inspections should be made by contacting Mr. Paul Thrift, telephone (757) 878-4152 ext. 26. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., July 21, 2005, by the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal Section, Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, and then and there publicly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Mr. Thrift at Fort Story or from the Acquisition, Mana gement, and Disposal Section, address shown above. Terms and conditions of sale, procedure for submitting bids, and a description of the timber are contained in the bid forms. Item will be sold by LUMP SUM.
