Description

This acquisition is to provide Grounds Maintenance services at the U.S. Coast Guard Activities, San Diego, California. The successful offeror will provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform ground maintenance services at the U.S. Coast Guard Activities, San Diego. The period of performance will begin in FY06. There will be four (4) one year option periods; If all options are exercised the contract term will end on FY10. Technical proposal will be required. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the government. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small Business. Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561730 with a size standard of $6 million. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG89-06-R-650K00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available electronically by accessing http://www.eps.gov/ on or about July 25, 2005. No paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will be distributed. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining any amendments from that site.
