- NAIC CODE: 562111 -SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SIC CODE: 4953 REFUSE SYSTEMS PSC CODE: S205 TRASH GARBAGE COLLECTION This is a pre-solicition notice only. Zion National park intends to acquire all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, dumpsters for pickup and removal of solid waste (trash) from Zion National Park to the Washington county landfil. The Washington county landfill has permit requirements. The first year of the contract would begin October 1, 2005 and end September 30, 2006. Also includes pickup and disposal of residential trash for same period of time. The cost of supplying or removing dumpsters shall be the responsibility of the contractor. This contract will have yearly options through September of 2010, depending on funding. The work of the contract is within Zion National Park which is approximately 43 miles East of St. George, Utah. This solicitation is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. A single award will be made. Contract estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractors must register in the CCR (Contractor Central Registration )www.ccr.gov in order to submit and be considered for award. Available files to download will be in one, or a combination of the following formats: HTML, Microsoft Word, Portable Document Format (PDF). The date the solicitation package will be available will be approximately July 29, 2005. The solicitation will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To be included in the bidder's list, each prospective bidder should request a solicitation package in writing on company letterhead, which should have your company name, address, telephone number and point of contact. Fax your request for bid package to (435) 772-3337, attention: Malinda A. Flatray, Contracting Officer for Zion National Park. Responses from offerors wil be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
