Description
United States Government Seeks Sources for Leased Office and Related Space In Long Beach, California REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease office and laboratory space consisting of approximately 34,000 rentable square feet. The rentable space must yield 30,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet. Although the base requirement is for office and laboratory space, this requirement could be satisfied by flex space. TENANT: United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Customs and Border Protection (CBP)/Border Transportation Security (BTS) LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area located in Long Beach, California: West 710 Freeway North 405 Freeway along Spring Street to Bellflower Boulevard East N. Bellflower Boulevard and East 7th Street to Park Avenue to East Ocean Boulevard South East Ocean Boulevard LEASE TERM: The proposed rental term shall be twenty (20) years, ten (10) years firm. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than January 1, 2007. The government reserves the right to accept the space at an earlier date, if the space is determined to be substantially complete. Owners, brokers or agents may offer space for consideration. Any properties submitted by brokers or agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized by the ownership to exclusively represent the building offered. Expressions of interest should include the following information: 1. Building name, address, and age 2. Available square footage (ANSI/BOMA Office, rentable and usable) 3. Schedule for completion and occupancy date 4. Rental rate information quotation per ANSI/BOMA office rentable square feet 5. Scaled floor plans (as-built) identifying offered space 6.
