Description

This requirement is for a vendor to provide network and telephone cable installation services throughout the Darnall Army Community Hospital at Fort Hood, TX. Two hundred cable drops shall be installed over the period of performance, which is for the base period is 12 months beginning 1 Oct 05 and ending 30 Sep 06. There will be three 12 month option periods as well. No fewer than four drops shall be installed at any one time. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's oblig ation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Cont racting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about 15 Jul 05. The RFQ will be avai lable for download at the Army Single Face to Industry website (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil and / or https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi). No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. Contractors must be r egistered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must be registered with the Industry Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) in order to download copies of particular solicitations and be added to its mailing list.
