- Description
- Northern Region Contracting Center - Leavenworth intends to issue a competitive, 100 percent small business set-aside solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541710, with a small business s ize of 500 employees. The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Analysis Center (TRAC) at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, has a requirement for contracted technical support. Contracted personnel shall provide the technical capabilities to assist in the planning and conduct of analyses and studies, to assist in the development and enhancement of models and simulations, to provide computer operations and maintenance support, and to assist in the interpretation of data through multimedia and producti on projects. The Contractor shall provide support to all areas of the TRAC Mission Essential Task List (METL): Conduct studies & analyses to enable Army decisions; Lead analysis for Army experimentation and exercises; Develop scenarios to underpin Army t ransformation; Develop, maintain and enhance models & simulations; Research battlefield phenomenology to improve modeling & analysis. The majority of the performance will be at White Sands Missile Range but may include support at other TRAC locations. A Top Secret facility clearance is required for this requirement; personnel are required to have at least a SECRET security clearance. The solicitation is to be issued on or about 01 Aug 05. A Firm Fixed-Price, performance based, Indefinite Delivery Indefi nite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is contemplated for labor with travel and minimal supplies and equipment being on a cost reimbursable basis. A contract base period of one year with four one-year options is anticipated. Competitive evaluation procedures will be utilized and a best value evaluation shall be made. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive award.
