SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED REQUESTING A BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN AND NO APPOINTMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is seeking sources with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform a contract to provide interior design services. Performance will be at various federal sites with projects occurring simultaneously at multiple sites predominantly in Southern California, but with potential work anywhere on the west coast. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541410, Interior Design Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $6M. The contract will have an estimated value of $1,000,000 or higher with a range of 16 – 30 projects per year. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing, at a MINIMUM, the following: 1) Experience: Briefly describe the Government or Commercial contracts your firm has completed in the last 5 years showing experience in performing comprehensive interior design (specifying furniture) and structural interior design (bldg finishes). Provide the contract value, type of contract; and period of performance; with a narrative description of the product/services provided by your firm. 2) Contractors shall specify if they have experience in the following types of Government facilities and/or similar commercial facilities: administration, bachelor enlisted quarter/bachelor officer quarters, recreational, medical/dental, religious, dining, consolidated clubs, and child development centers. 3) Contractors shall specify if they are proficient in AutoCAD 2000 or a compatible system. 4) Certification: Provide a self-certification that you are National Council Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certified or licensed. 5) Contractors shall describe their library. The description shall include the following: a). Number of GSA Vendors with a percentage breakdown by product source to include: furniture, miscellaneous architectural accessories, lighting, and artwork. b) Number of Non-GSA Vendors with a quantity breakdown of sources for miscellaneous carpet manufacturer’s, various flooring manufacturer’s, laminate manufacturer’s and fabric manufacturer’s to include, bedspread, cubicle and drapery fabrics, and wall covering manufacturer’s. 6) Identify whether your firm is a qualified 8 (a), HubZone, or Small Disadvantaged, Small Business. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. However, EFDSW-SD will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. All data received in response to this Source Sought Notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the government. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants.
